Mostly Living in the 80s.
During May, it felt like a life time had passed in a few moments!
We’ve been busy prepping for the busy year to come, playing our locals to get our setlist just right, recording reference tracks so we can spend more time working on new tracks, getting the sounds just right and perfecting the stage performance.
Our drummer Dan has been in what we call “80s mode” with the 80s retro festival season starting with Rock the Moor in Cookham (that’s very local to us) obviously we walked down there in the rain and caught some Tiffany, From The Jam, The Beat, Kid Creole and The Coconuts, Go West and Sister Sledge (Who were amazing). So we might go to a couple more!
Ever since I have heard nothing but Go West on the radio, which brings me to noticing that this 80’s thing is getting quite popular, more than I suspected and at a couple of performances this month even the younger crowd were singing and dancing to the few 80s tracks we have…perhaps we might add a couple more before the trend dies down!
