Studio with Pete Brown
Studios and Doctor Who
Carrying us through the abysmally drab weather during March and April luckily we were mostly in the studio with legend Pete Brown. We recorded some new tracks and spent some quality time together, bonding over gang vocals and practicing our harmonies with Pete, even helping him (admittedly by accident) to work out the missing vocal harmony in “Ain’t Nobody” for his Ukelele and Voice group. Good job well done.
After much coffee, chocolate mini eggs and doing our best impressions of Sister Sledge we have some great mixes ready for you to hear!
We’ve also been busy making stage props in preparation for new video footage and to enhance our visual impact, reversible of course, to suit mood and atmosphere of a venue and event.
In a short turn around we filmed our new video with help from an awesome camera man and editor who usually work for the BBC on Doctor Who!
Then straight after that our first spectacular Wedding, Stoke Park Country Club, The historic and culture clad venue is situated near Wexham and Stoke Poges right near the legendary Pinewood Studios… that’s right you guessed it, this is the famous location for many an action movie and romantic chick flick to be filmed, James Bond…twice! Bridget Jones, Layer Cake, RocknRolla and Wimbledon.
We loved playing in the ball room with our fantastic new stage props, we’ve suitably impressed the management as well as all the guests by making sure the bride and her bridal party had their requested share of “Old Skool Garage Tunes” in our DJ set till the small hours!
If you want to check out our new video it is up and ready for your viewing pleasure!
